Free Examples of Elementary School Science Fair Projects
Here is where you will find a free list of Elementary School Science Fair Projects.  The schools, organizations and individuals listed here have posted their finished science fair projects online giving you some great ideas and examples for your own project.

Many of these science projects use materials that are available around the house, making them very cheap, or completely free!  Others require materials that are available from reputable suppliers of science products like Edmund Scientific and ScienceKit.com.

Timber Ridge Magnet School Online Science Fair
Follow this link to the Timber Ridge Magnet School's Online Science Fair, then scroll to the bottom of the page.  There you will find an excellent collection of complete science fair projects for grades 1 through 8.  They even have pictures of the projects as the progress!
In the lower grades, the projects are done by the entire class.  The higher grades have individual projects.  This is an outstanding collection of free science fair projects that you can use for ideas of your own.

Selah Intermediate School Science Projects
The Selah School District has an excellent Science Fair Project Ideas and Help page that has many helpful resources, including completed student science fair projects from their Intermediate School.  This is a very large collection from 1998 through 2005, and will present you with many ideas for your own science project.  Use the following table for quick access to the projects:

Our Science Fair Projects - Two Girls From Colorado
A nicely done collection of five completed science fair projects by two girls from Colorado. They have specifically posted these reports online in an effort to offer free help if you are having difficulty choosing or researching good science fair projects.

They present detailed information on these projects that they have done together, two of which were selected to go to the district science fair. Each page summarizes the project, and there is a link to the completed science fair projects in PDF format.

Mankato Area Public Schools has three complete projects listed in the CyberFair section of their school website:
E-Journal of Student Research: Science
The Science area located in the E-Journal of Student Research at the NSRC (National Student Research Center) has hundreds of abstracts of student research projects from Elementary through High School levels. Although these completed projects are basically in short form and without pictures, they are fairly detailed and should server as good examples of free science fair projects.
